AEE Technology, provider of body cameras and drones, has announced the availability of its P60 body camera in the United States. Following its successful rollout and wide use with international law enforcement agencies, the rugged and high quality P60 brings advanced features for the most demanding situations.

The P60 highlights include the latest technology for body cameras. A key feature of the P60 is its support of interphone/intercom equipment such as walkie-talkies, allowing pairing with communication devices of personnel. Video or photo can be broadcast on a smart device such as a phone or tablet up to 300 feet away. Motion detection recording initiates recording when movement is detected. The P60 features 8 hours of continuous recording on each battery charge.

Video quality is a key consideration for police body cameras, and the P60 camera can capture high definition images and video at 1080px and 30 fps (frames per second), with a high resolution of 22 megapixels. An ultra-wide-angle lens ranging at 130 degrees wide at f/2.8 aperture helps capture more of the shot. Storage space of 32GB built-in memory preserves the video/image/audio files.

The P60's infrared indicator gives the user the ability to take footage in pure blackness up to 9 feet away. Its sturdy and rugged construction is designed to withstand the rigors of the most demanding day.

Key features of the P60:

  • Built-in 3300mAh lithium battery

  • High-resolution video 1080px / 30fps

  • Ultra-wide-angle 130 degrees

  • Built-in 32GB internal memory

  • Built-in G sensor

  • Supports interphone function

"Unlike other body-worn camera manufacturers, AEE has a long history of expertise with action cameras and drones as well," says Jason Rabuy of AEE Technologies. "This breadth of knowledge served us well when we designed body cameras with the features that law enforcement officers want and need. The P60 has been battle-tested in some of the most challenging environments around the world. U.S. agencies would be hard-pressed to find a device that blends quality, advanced features, and a budget-friendly price anywhere else."
