LexisNexis and SunGard Announce Electronic Crash Reporting Solution
The SunGard RMS-LexisNexis Police Reports integration creates a combined online platform for crash report access and retrieval.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions has announced that it is integrating its LexisNexis Police Reports eCommerce portal with SunGard Public Sector's ONESolution Records Management System (RMS) to provide an end-to-end system for capturing, analyzing, and disseminating accident reports online.
"This partnership allows law enforcement agencies to make better use of the resources at their disposal, enhancing their ability to focus on critical efforts in the communities they serve," said LexisNexis Risk Solutions Vice President Roy Marler.
This integration is designed to enable agencies to seamlessly export and upload crash reports from the SunGard RMS to the LexisNexis portal for electronic access by citizens and commercial entities, such as insurance agencies and law firms.
Key features of this integration include lower overhead for fulfilling crash report requests, 24/7 online access, increased efficiency by automating the process, enhanced security with 128-bit SSL encryption, and optimized data sharing capabilities through federated searches, according to the companies.
