AmpliVox Partners with 13-Year-Old Boy Who Supports 9/11 First Responders

Travis’ first effort, funded from his piggy bank, purchased two pizzas for local firemen and policemen. Since then, his fund-raising efforts have expanded, with the help of local restaurants and other businesses, to provide complete dinners for over one hundred retired and active first responders.

Travis Hall is 13 years old and has been interested in honoring 9/11 first responders since his father Scott told him about the event, which happened before he was born, when he was four years old. Since then, he has organized annual dinners to honor the people who responded to the 9/11 terror attacks. And AmpliVox has donated one of its AirVox portable sound systems and a Mega Hailer sound system to help Travis with his work.

Travis’ first effort, funded from his piggy bank, purchased two pizzas for local firemen and policemen. Since then, his fund-raising efforts have expanded, with the help of local restaurants and other businesses, to provide complete dinners for over one hundred retired and active first responders. Travis’ charitable efforts have also grown beyond 9/11 commemoration; he organized the donation of over 100 cases of bottled water to help citizens of Flint Michigan affected by lead problems in their water pipes.

“ We couldn’t be prouder of Travis,” said his parents, Scott and Sue. And the sentiment is echoed by hundreds of appreciative fire and policemen.

AmpliVox’s made-in-the-USA AirVox and Mega Hailer portable PA systems, with their 50-watt amplifiers and wireless microphones, will enable Travis to make announcements and play music wirelessly at his future events, indoors or out. “AmpliVox is always happy to help those who support their local communities,” said AmpliVox CEO Don Roth.
