FN Issues Mandatory Safety Recall of All FN M249S Rifles
FN America, LLC, announced Friday the mandatory recall of certain FN M249S semi-automatic, belt-fed rifles in both standard and PARA configurations. FN is instructing customers to discontinue use of these rifles immediately and return affected products to FN directly for installation of a new hammer group, at no cost.

General Motors is recalling 49,927 2010- to 2014-model year Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit vehicles to address a fire risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Code 3 Announces the Recall of Rechargeable LED Work/Utility Lamps
Code 3 is conducting a safety recall of its first generation EW2461-series worklamp – a portable, magnetic mountable, LED work/utility lamp powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. There have been no reported injuries.

Chevy Recalling 47,000 Caprice Patrol Vehicles for Seat Belt Concern
According to documents GM filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, flexible steel cables that connect seat belts to the vehicle at the outside of the driver seat may be bent from being sat upon while entering the vehicle. Over time, repeated bending may break the cable.

Additional Kawasaki Motorcycles Recalled
In its initial notice, Kawasaki recalled 268 cycles in the 2009-2012 model years. A second recall filed Aug. 16 with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported 57 cycles in the 2012 and 2013 model years.
