An officer with the Hingham (MA) Police Department and his K-9 partner were injured in a vehicle collision over the weekend, the agency said on its Facebook page.
The department said that Officer Ryan Ross was responding to a report of a roll over crash when his cruiser was involved in the collision with the civilian vehicle.
The social media post concluded, "As a result of the crash, the driver of the car and K9 Officer Ross were transported to the hospital. Officer Ross’s partner, K9 Pedy, was also taken to a veterinarian for examination."
