The Florida man who resided on death row for 30 years after his conviction for gunning down a Coral Gables Police officer was executed today by lethal injection. He was declared dead at 7:14 p.m.
Manuel Valle, 61, was put to death by lethal injection at Florida State Prison for the murder of Officer Louis Pena, who had pulled Valle over for running a red light in 1978.
