On his second tour of Iraq, driving a Bradley armored vehicle, Pisey Tan heard and saw the explosion. He felt the Bradley lift in the air. He tried to haul out of there, hitting the gas. At least that's what he thought he was doing, but the Bradley wouldn't go. He looked down, saw blood. Tan lost both legs to that roadside bomb in 2005.
Today, he is bicycling as much as 25 miles at a trips, using carbon fiber prosthetic legs.
