Dozens of police vehicles joined a funeral procession for the body of Las Vegas Metro Police Officer David Vanbuskirk to a Henderson church Monday to eulogize the fallen officer.
About 3,000 well-wishers filled Central Christian Church to remember the officer, who died July 23 while attempting to rescue a stranded hiker on Mount Charleston, reports KTNV.
The service was followed by an hour-long graveside ceremony that included a flag presentation, 21-gun salute and flyover by the Las Vegas Metro PD. View the agency's YouTube video of the motorcade here.
