A sergeant with the Waynesboro (GA) Police Department used CPR to revive an infant that had stopped breathing in the parking lot of a store in January has now had the opportunity to reunite with him.

According to NBC News, Sergeant Harold Drummond acted quickly to revive the infant, and later said to reporters that he'd "rather look down the barrel of a gun than to look down at a baby in distress."

The boy and his family recently visited the Waynesboro Police Department to reunite with Drummond and thank him for his heroic act.

The agency posted video of that event on its Facebook page.
