Phoenix NFL Team Donates $50,000 to Family of Slain Officer

The NFL’s Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that it will donate $50,000 to the family of Phoenix Police Commander Greg Carnicle.

Carnicle was shot and killed Sunday night responding to a domestic . Two other officers were shot and wounded in the same incident. They are expected to recover.

Principle owner of the Cardinals Michael Bidwill said, "We have a close relationship with the Phoenix Police Department and we were heartbroken with their loss," Sportsnaut.com reports.
