A fundraiser held at a local restaurant for San Marcos Police Officer Paul Beller quickly sold out Sunday afternoon.

According to Fox News, Officer Beller was struck by a vehicle while responding to a report of lumber in the road.

He is currently recovering from his injuries at a nearby hospital.
