The Ocala Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department worked together Sunday to lead the recovery of a Florida Highway Patrol car that was washed away in Hardee County away during Hurricane Ian.
According to the Ocala Police Department, a trooper was in the car the night of Sept. 29 when the road washed out.

The trooper’s car was washed away but was retrieved Sunday by the Ocala Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
