Executives from Tait Radio Communications attended the Los Angeles Police Department's (LAPD) annual Medal of Valor ceremony in Los Angeles, Calif., to honor the recipients.
Tait, one of this year's award sponsors, was presented with a plaque in acknowledgement of the contribution and joined the more than 1,000 attendees in congratulating the 10 LAPD officers who qualified for the prestigious medals.
"Tait is very proud to be a part of such a significant occasion which recognizes the exceptional cases of dedication and bravery among LAPD officers," according to Steve Cragg, president of Tait Radio Communications Americas. "Their stories were inspiring and their commitment to serving and protecting the people of Los Angeles worthy of the highest commendation."
The Medal of Valor is the LAPD's most prestigious award and may be awarded to officers who distinguish themselves by conspicuous bravery or heroism above and beyond the call of duty.
