It’s a Stiletto® with a different kind of edge, and it could only come from SureFire, manufacturer of the world’s finest and most innovative illumination tools and tactical equipment.

Measuring just 4.45 inches long and weighing a mere 3 ounces, the all-new Stiletto features a slim and lightweight design that makes it easy to slip into a pant or shirt pocket for comfortable and easy everyday carry, but it isn’t just some wimpy, foreign-made pretender. It’s proudly designed and built in the USA by the people who created the tactical illumination paradigm in the first place.

There’s something about the Stiletto that imparts a sturdy and battle-ready feel when you hold it, but unlike the knife of the same name, the Stiletto’s edge isn’t made of steel. Its real edge lies in its ability to temporarily blind a potential attacker with 650 lumens of stabbing bright white light when set to High output, increasing your “fight or flight” odds after the sun goes down.

That tactical advantage is just one of the many facets that make the Stiletto a highly versatile addition to your everyday carry gear. Case in point: the Stiletto’s output is programmable. When the primary switch is set to default mode, the first press of the primary button activates the 5-lumen Low mode. Pressing the button again activates the 250-lumen Medium mode, and a third press activates the 650-lumen High mode. This output order can also be easily reprogrammed so that the first press of the primary button activates High mode first. But regardless of which mode you choose, SureFire’s innovative, patented MaxVision Beam® reflector technology can be counted on to deliver the optimum mix of projected and wide-angle illumination for easy simultaneous target acquisition and situational awareness.

And if things should get dicey in the dark, no need to worry; you can instantly unleash the Stiletto’s High output with a single push of the tactical switch at the rear of the body, and it’s easy to program the tactical switch for constant-on switching so that the Stiletto stays on until you press the tactical switch again. SureFire engineers even thought to add high- and medium-frequency strobe modes. The high-frequency strobe mode can disorient an attacker while the medium-frequency emergency strobe mode can’t help but increase your conspicuity when activated, providing a potential distress signal. Seriously, when was the last time you were able to ignore a brightly flashing beacon. Ever.

Of course, the Stiletto’s empowering performance and ample features are only as effective as their energy source, but keeping the Stiletto topped off is as simple as operating. Its powerful yet environmentally friendly lithium polymer battery is easily rechargeable via a Micro-USB charger, eliminating the need to periodically replace batteries. And the LED fuel gauge allows the user to easily track how much of the Stiletto’s generous 1.75-hour run time is still available.

The Stiletto’s brilliant output isn’t the only thing that was designed to last. Its rugged polymer body is topped off with a Mil-Spec, hard anodized aluminum head assembly for added corrosion resistance and durability. The Stiletto is also IPX7-certified, which means that its body remains water tight in up to 1 meter of water for at least 30 minutes. Even its spring steel pocket clip is coated with Melonite® a heat-treating process that increases wear resistance. Like every SureFire product, you can count on the Stiletto to last. SureFire does. That’s why the Stiletto comes with the SureFire No-Hassle Guarantee, which warranties the Stiletto against defective materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

The SureFire Stiletto is powerfully small, and that’s precisely why it could even the odds against a bad guy with a stiletto, or any other weapon for that matter.
