POLICE Webinar Focuses on Body Camera Data Storage Solutions

The rapid adoption of high-resolution body-worn cameras and the continued use of in-car video systems and stationary surveillance video systems by law enforcement agencies has left many police leaders with a critical concern: How do I store, organize, and protect this evidentiary data? StorageCraft and POLICE will be offering a free Webinar this Thursday (June 20) at 2 p.m. Eastern to discuss solutions for this problem.

"How to Overcome Storage Capacity and Data Recovery Challenges in Law Enforcement Agencies" will be led by Sean Derrington, senior director of product management at StorageCraft. Derrington has more than two decades of experience in the data storage technology industry, including positions with Veritas/Symantec, Exablox, and now StorageCraft.

In the June 20 Webinar, Derrington will discuss the challenge of storing video data, finding a fluid storage solution that can accommodate increasing amounts of video, and the security of stored data. "Law enforcement agencies can meet these challenges with a comprehensive storage management and data protection solution that provides seamless storage expansion, immutable backups, and protection from ransomware infections," Derrington says.
