The Owasso (Okla.) Police Department will begin outfitting its officers with wearable video cameras to record interactions with subjects, following approval by the City Council of the equipment.
The city will buy 35 cameras from Seattle, Wash.-based Vievu, which produces the PVR-LE2 pager-sized unit . The city will spend about $31,500 for the cameras and roughly $13,500 for data storage, reports the Tulsa World.
