MP Antenna has debuted its SenComm-NMO multi-polarized antenna, which provides enhanced patterning for mobile voice and data communication in the frequency range of 698MHz to 999MHz.

The device uses signals in all polarizations, allowing transmition and reception in a variety of environments where standard antennas fail. The SenComm-NMO works with any radio or data device to ensure maximum reliability for emergency services, according to the company.

The SenComm-NMO antenna is well suited for a range of applications including public safety, 902MHz to 928MHz ISM, wireless broadband systems, smart-grid monitoring systems, SCADA, and high-obstruction deployments, according to the company.

The antenna's features include multi-band use, built-in spatial diversity, and RoHS compliance. It arrives with an NMO mount.

The device was tested and approved by emergency service providers, first responders, and utility companies, according to Kevin Mohr, chief of fire and EMS for Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

"When using the SenComm antenna, we consistently found a measurable improvement in signal strength and reliability," accordign to Mohr. "Most notably, we were often able to receive clear voice communication in the same locations that the standard antenna failed to produce any usable signal."

The SenComm-NMO antenna is priced at $74.95 and is now available at MP Antenna resellers.
