The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has released still images and composite sketches culled from more than 100 hours of video footage showing disturbing scenes of four men sexually assaulting at least 10 disabled women.

The assaults came to light, when a bundle of 11 DVDs were dropped off by an anonymous tipster at the sheriff's Monterey Park substation. Some of the footage is believed to have been taken from surveillance cameras, while other footage was likely shot by accomplices using hand-held cameras.

The footage depicts multiple locations, including one that is believed to be a residential care facility.

Sheriff's investigators from the Special Victims Bureau believe the suspects include a facility employee and patient. The bureau released the footage to gain the public's help identifying the suspects and victims. Investigators say there are eight total suspects.

"Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau are concerned that these sexual assaults might still be occurring," said Sheriff's Sgt. Dan Scott.

In one video, an obese man in a wheelchair is seen pushing himself into a small bedroom while wearing a diaper. His back is covered in scars and he appears to be a paraplegic resident of a care facility. The man pulls himself onto a woman's bed, removes both his own and her diaper, then assaults her, according to the Whittier Daily News.
