Kussmaul Electronics has introduced the Power Save Timer (Model 091-191-115), a timer for block heaters that limits the duty cycle of an A.C. load, according to the company.
The timer regulates the unit on hour intervals — one hour on, followed by one hour off — and cuts power consumption of the 110-volt heater in half. A bypass switch may be installed to permit full time operation when full power operation is desired.
