Havis Inc., has announced an addition to its series of docking stations designed and developed in partnership with Dell Inc. The DS-DELL-600 Series Docking Station provides a lightweight docking solution for the new Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet that is designed for maximum security, productivity and longevity in tough mobile environments.

The new DS-DELL-600 Series Docking Station is a result of the partnership between Havis and Dell to develop solutions for the mobile workforce. Havis is committed to partnering with industry experts who understand the goals of our customers – to increase productivity while decreasing overall costs and keeping workers safe.

The Havis Docking Station for the Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet brings you the best computing solution for all your business needs. The DS-DELL-600 Series Docking Station offers computer charging, security, and connection to peripherals in enterprise, warehouse and other in-vehicle workplaces. Maximize your productivity with this rugged yet lightweight dock, which has been built with theft deterrence, longevity and stability in mind.

The DS-DELL-600 Series Docking Station is tested to comply with Havis’ industry-leading safety standards, which include 30-mph crash simulations per SAE J1455, military-grade vibration testing, hot/cold operation and storage testing, extensive cycle testing and compliance with RoHS (Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances) regulations.

The Havis DS-DELL-600 Series for the Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet features recessed port replication designed to relieve strain and prevent accidental cable disconnects. Full-port replication allows for complete connectivity to printers, scanners and other peripherals, with up to three fully-powered USB 3.0 cables, one USB 2.0 cable, Ethernet, Serial, video VGA, DisplayPort, optional antennas to improve range and an optional internal power supply.

Designed with versatility in mind, Havis docking stations and cradles for Dell are built to keep laptops and tablets secure while providing reliable and comfortable in-vehicle computing for fleets to enhance productivity of their mobile workforce. In addition to Havis’ range of accessories for Dell products, Havis DS-DELL-400 and -600 Series Docking Systems offer Enhanced Protection Plans for up to two PDB replacements per serial number within 5 years.
