Google Glass Captures Arrest

A Google Glass beta tester captured a fight and arrest during a rowdy Fourth of July celebration in Wildwood, N.J., in what is one of the first police responses captured by the new technology.

In an interview with VentureBeat , Chris Barrett said he wanted to test Glass out on the boardwalk after a fireworks show. Barrett, founder of PRServe and a documentary filmmaker, captured police arresting a shirtless man following a short scuffle.

"With Glass I went closer to the action than I probably should have and saw a couple fights going on," he said. "I think I got the first arrest with Google Glass."
