The Fort Worth (Texas) Police Department has begun using TASER Axon Flex on-body video systems for its force and showed off some of the new units to the media on Tuesday.
After Fort Worth PD officers began purchasing the units in 2012, the agency began formal testing and issued 50 units to patrol officers in May. The agency ordered 145 more and hopes to have 500 in operation within two years, Cpl. Tracey Knight told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram .
