CJIS Solutions Launches CJIS Compliant Cloud Services

CJIS Solutions has begun offering its CJIS-compliant e-mail, data backup, and cloud services for law enforcement agencies, according to the company.

CJIS Solutions has partnered with Unitrends, which uses on-site appliances to deliver data backup technology as well as off-site replication and storage.  The companies are offering emergency system failover for systems on the network at no extra charge.

CJIS Solutions provides hosted e-mail exchange to give agencies the benefit of an e-mail server but hosted in their cloud to reduce costs. With additional encryption options, agencies can isolate e-mail from unauthorized access as well. The company can customize an agency's long-term retention policy.
