Brite-Strike Technologies has introduced an expandable baton with an integrated flashlight as a dual-purpose tactical item. The company brought the product to SHOT Show 2010.
The baton is offered in straight- and side-handle versions, as models SB170HLS and SH170HLS respectively. They measure 17.5 inches collapsed and 27 inches extended.
The integrated flashlight offers up to Hi-170 lumens Lo-80 Lumens, and includes a strobe mode to disorient aggressive suspects. The straight baton weighs 18 ounces and retails for $200. The side-handle baton weighs 20 ounces and retails for $220.
