The enterprise, which was run by Shannon Williams, transported and distributed nearly 16,000 pounds of marijuana with a street value of approximately $7.75 million.
The Nebraska case resulted in the indictment and conviction of 15 individuals and the seizure of $600,000 in property. It led to another investigation in Arizona targeting the Sinaloa Cartel suppliers that resulted in the indictment of 11 additional individuals.
Law enforcement agencies involved in the case included the Bellevue (Neb.) Police Department, Omaha (Neb.) Police Department, Peoria (Ariz.) Police Department, and the FBI.
