Police in every corner of Britain are involved in the investigation into an alleged plot to put Islamist suicide bombers on US-bound airliners, police said.
The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) said police forces up and down the country had sent, or were sending, officers to London to help with the investigation, led by the capital's Metropolitan Police.
