At PTX 2023 law enforcement delegates meet one-on-one with supplier host companies that provide public safety tools and services.

Last week dozens of law enforcement leaders (Delegates) met in Kansas City, MO, for the POLICE Technology eXchange (PTX).

The conference offered command-level and supervisory officers and technology specialists from agencies nationwide the opportunity to speak one-on-one with representatives from some of the top vendors of public safety tools and services. In addition, Delegates networked with each other during meals and outings.

Another feature of this year’s PTX was a series of breakout sessions where small groups of Delegates could listen to presentations of success stories and other essential information from Supplier Hosts of law enforcement technologies and services.

A special roundtable discussion was held on day two of PTX, where the Delegates talked about how technology can increase officer productivity in this era of thinning police ranks, overcoming community resistance to the implementation of new law enforcement technologies, and the difficulties agencies experience transitioning from legacy technologies.

All law enforcement PTX Delegates received full scholarships to attend the event, provided by POLICE Magazine and Policemag.com.
