Officers in Kennesaw, GA, last week responded to a McDonalds after a dispute in which a man called 911 to complain about his fries. When officers arrived and checked, the unhappy customer was wanted in connection with a murder case.

Antroine Sims, the caller, had been charged in the murder of a woman in Johns Creek in 2018, reports FOX5. Her body was found inside a burning car.

Sims was currently out on bond but had a warrant out of Fulton County for failure to appear. When Kennesaw police tried to give Sims the criminal trespass warning, he took off running. He was soon apprehended and detained.

"It's very unusual that someone, knowing he is wanted by police, would call the police, but Mr. Sims did that," said Officer Buchanan.

Sims had been incarcerated since 2019 before being granted a $275,000 bond in February, according to Fulton County court records. His active warrant was for not appearing in court after being released from jail, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
