Three Albuquerque officers were shot and another was injured during response to a robbery at a coffee shop Thursday morning. One of the officers who was shot suffered a critical wound above his vest. Another officer was hit in the arm. A third officer was saved by body armor.

Albuquerque PD says two suspects are in custody related to the incident at a Dutch Bros Coffee. The first suspect was wounded and taken into custody shortly after the shooting unfolded. At 12:34 p.m., APD announced via Twitter a second suspect was taken into custody.

The fourth officer who was injured was hit with either shrapnel or glass, KRQE reports.

Chief Harold Medina said the original call was a robbery to an individual at the Dutch Bros Coffee shop.
