Video: Florida Deputies Take Down Home Invaders, Rescue Little Girl

Volusia deputies arrived as the robbery was happening and heard the victims screaming in the garage.

Volusia County, FL, deputies arrested three men Saturday night accused of breaking into a Deltona home and tying up five adults while a child hid in a bedroom.

The incident began around 10 p.m. when the suspects approached the open garage and pointed guns at two people, demanding they empty their pockets, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The men then went inside the home and brought three other adults living in the residence to the garage, where everyone was tied up, according to investigators.

Volusia deputies arrived as the robbery was happening and heard the victims screaming in the garage, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Jermaine Oliver, 30, John Anderson, 39, and Derrick Mathis, 32, were found inside “rummaging through contents,” the agency said.

Deputies released the victims from the garage and a 7-year-old girl was found unharmed inside the house.
