A rape suspect who was recently released from prison over COVID-19 was found dead after a standoff with police in Bucks County, PA, on Tuesday.

Accused rapist, Curtis Fish, tried to break into the Crossroads Tavern before fleeing into his home nearby, police say.

Officers pursued but were unable to stop Fish from entering the home, ABC reports.

Video reportedly shows Fish setting off fireworks toward officers. Moments later, the residence went up in flames.

No officers were hurt during Tuesday's incident.
