A School Resource Officer in Maryland is trying to help parents as they learn how to homeschool their children during the Coronavirus shutdown.

According to CBS News, Officer Jason Neidig has been the School Resource Officer at Aberdeen Middle School for four years.

"When I became a School Resource Officer I wanted to take it a step further," Neidig said. "Interact more with the students more than just being in the school."

With schools closed due to COVID-19, he's begun using social media to continue to connect with students. He posts daily videos on Instagram and YouTube and has a weekly feature called "TikTok Tuesday."
