5 Minnesota Officers Fired for Inaction During an Assault

Five officers with the Saint Paul (MN) Police Department have been fired for failing to intervene in an assault outside a local bar.

Five officers with the Saint Paul (MN) Police Department have been fired for failing to intervene in an assault outside a local bar.

According to the Pioneer Press, Police Chief Todd Axtell said the five officers responded to an incident and "while they were there, an individual assaulted others and officers did not intervene."

The police department did not release the officers' names.
