Four men—18-year-old Therae Racette-Beaulieu, 21-year-old Tommy Beaulieu, 30-year-old Shane Beaulieu, and 23-year-old Delaney Houle— have been charged with attempted murder and possession of property obtained by crime, after an RCMP officer was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was shot Wednesday night in western Manitoba.

Corporal Graeme Kingdon was one of two officers responded to a break and enter at a home in Onanole, according to the Globe and Mail.

Police say that 42-year-old Corporal Kingdon is now in stable condition, according to CBC.

"He remains in hospital recovering from his injuries. He is receiving strong support from his family, friends and colleagues," the RCMP said in a written statement.
