An officer with the Kettering (OH) Police Department has returned to duty after a grand jury cleared him of any wrongdoing in the shooting of 31-year-old Wayne Morgan at a traffic stop.

Officer Matthew Stull shot and injured Morgan when the man refused to comply with commands to drop a gun he was holding.

The grand jury reviewed evidence and heard testimony regarding the June 21 incident and determined that Stull acted within the law during the incident. He has now returned to duty, according to Dayton Daily News
