Police in Gaston County, NC, arrested a man who is wanted for murder in Georgia after they said he shot at officers and led them on a brief chase overnight.

Police received information that Jamar Harris, of Rock Hill, was in the area and found him driving on Ozark Avenue.

When officers confronted him, they said he shot at them and sped off down Cox Road, WSOC TV reports.

Police chased Harris, 32, over Interstate 85 before they said he rear-ended a car and T-boned another before eventually giving up.
