Galco Gunleather introduced four new holsters at SHOT Show 2011 that include two inside the waistband models and two belt holsters.
Galco's inside the waistband holsters include the KingTuk and V-Hawk, while belt holsters include the TacSlide and the Stryker.
The KingTuk is a hybrid Kydex holster with a steerhide backing. Removable metal belt clips fit belts up to 1.75 inches and can be moved up or down in the corresponding holes in the leather, enabling the user to set the carry height and angle to suit their unique preferences. The KingTuk is currently offered for popular semiautos and small-frame revolvers and retails for $59.95.
The V-Hawk IWB steerhide holster provides the option of either leather 1.5-inch belt loops or tuckable injection molded 1.25-inch "C" hooks. An open top offers both speed and ease of draw, and the reinforced mouth offers an easy one-handed return to the holster. The V-Hawk is currently offered for popular semiautos and double-action revolvers and retails for $112.
The TacSlide belt holster combines steerhide and Kydex. The TacSlide mates a Kydex holster pocket to a slotted steerhide backplate. It offers an open top and neutral cant and fits 1.75-inch belt slots. The TacSlide's silhouetted, belt-slide design accommodates multiple barrel lengths on the same basic frame size. The TacSlide is currently offered for popular semiautos and double-action revolvers and retails for $39.95.
The Kydex Stryker offers twin adjustable tension units that allow the user to customize the draw feel to their unique preferences, while a neutral cant offers fast wrist-locked drawing motion. The belt slot attachment easily adjusts to fit belts from 1.25 to 1.75 inches. The Stryker is currently offered for popular semiautos and retails for $59.95.
