Ontario Knife Introduces the Ranger Task Force Infidel (TFI)

The five-inch, 5160 high-carbon steel blade measures 0.25 inches wide and stretches 10.228 inches in length. The TFI's blade is coated with a black texture powder coat for protection and concealment.

The Ontario Knife Co. has introduced the Ranger Task Force Infidel (TFI) fixed-blade utility knife.

"The toughness of the TFI is unequalled thanks in part to the quarter-inch thick 5160 construction, so you can pry and chop with it," according to Justin Gingrich, an Ontario knife designer. "The five-inch blade makes it easy to carry everyday on your person or in your kit. Operators often mount it to the drop leg rig so they have something to pry and cut with in easy reach."

The rugged-looking black Micarta handle provides as solid of a grip in a rainforest or urban environment as it would in the arid, sandy environment of the desert, according to the company.
