Alexander Arms, the Virginia-based rifle and cartridge manufacturer known for its .50 Beowulf and 6.5 Grendel cartridges, has named E-LANDER Mags the magazine supplier of choice for the 6.5 Grendel.

Bill Alexander, Alexander Arms founder and CEO, made the announcement after conducting an exhaustive audit and rigorous assessment on the new magazine, which performed flawlessly. "We are extremely satisfied and impressed with the quality of the E-LANDER 6.5 Grendel magazine. It is an absolutely superb piece of work and is a testament to the skill of E-LANDER's toolmakers and designers," Alexander said.

The new product was officially introduced recently by Wayne Holt, Alexander Arms VP of Sales and Marketing, at InterMedia Outdoors Roundtable. The semiannual invitation-only event is a chance for manufacturers to introduce their latest and greatest offerings to InterMedia's staff, which includes writers and editors from Guns & Ammo, Handguns, RifleShooter, Shooting Times and Shotgun News.

In praising the new magazine, Bill Alexander said, "All features are correct. The magazine loads perfectly and the ammunition stack is ideal. The follower works well and the rounds feed flawlessly. The magazine sits well in the gun and drops free without incident on all the guns. For some time, magazine issues have plagued this rifle platform. It looks like E-LANDER Mags has now solved that problem."

Launched in 2003, the 6.5 Grendel cartridge provides extreme range capability for hunting, competition and tactical applications at distances way beyond those previously achievable in the M16/AR-15 platform.

Seffy Englander, Head of Business Development at E-LANDER, said, "We are very pleased to be working with Alexander Arms. Creating the perfect magazine for the Grendel was a challenge, but we knew that we had the skill, expertise and technology to get the job done."

The 6.5 Grendel magazine is available for purchase through www.alexanderarms.com . E-Lander Mags are available in the U.S. through The Mako Group ( www.themakogroup.com ; 631-880-3396 ext. 310).
