Daniel Defense will present a class on concealed carry of carbines through the Law Enforcement Education Program (LEEP) at SHOT Show later this month in Las Vegas.
The class titled "Concealed Carry Carbine" is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 22 in the Marcello 4404 room in the Sands Convention Center.
"The material covered in this session is relevant to all Law Enforcement personnel who conduct plainclothes operations, act as school resource officers, or patrol from a motorcycle," Daniel Defense says.
Discussion covers the different methods for concealing and deploying a carbine from concealment. Topics will include considerations for selecting a specific rifle, methods of concealment and deployment, and ballistics.
Instructors for this presentation are: Bryan Hillis, president and principal consultant for Alexander Global Strategies Inc.; and Scott Javins, law enforcement and military product manager for Hornady. Hillis has 15 years of experience in law enforcement in a variety of positions, including patrol, criminal investigations, SWAT team leader, and team commander, manager of all department training, and as assistant chief in charge of criminal investigations and special operations. Javins has 17 years of law enforcement and military experience. He served as an investigator with the Nebraska State Patrol and on federal law enforcement task forces. He has been a professional tactical firearms instructor for 14 years.
