In response to an ongoing demand for explosion-proof LED strobes and beacons, Larson Electronics' released the EPSLED-80 Class 1 Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 LED strobe light. Featuring a 7-watt LED bulb that pulses at 4Hz, this explosion proof LED beacon can be installed via pendant, ceiling and wall mount configurations.

Larson Electronics magnalight.com added a new EPSLED-80 explosion flashing LED beacon light to its line of hazardous location strobe lights. Carrying  UL rating of Class 1 Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1, this LED explosion-proof beacon can be configured to operate from 120/240VAC 50/60Hz or 12/24 VDC. The 7-watt LED bulb flashes at four times per second and is available in white, red, blue, amber or green.

The highly efficient LED strobe light draws minimal amperage, has a life rating exceeding 50,000 hours and offers a wide array of mounting options. Unlike many explosion proof lights, changing out the LED bulb takes just a few minutes and operators can opt for a steady burn configuration. The EPSLED-80 is priced under $800, weighs 9 pounds and is 15 inches tall and 7.25 inches diameter.

"This is a nice addition to our growing selection of explosion proof strobe lights and flashing LED beacons," said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics' magnalight.com. "While not as powerful as our EPSL-80-141 series of explosion proof LED strobe lights, the EPSLED-80 offers a lower price point and long distance visibility. We have a growing line of industrial LED strobe beacons for both general area and hazardous area applications and this new Class 1 Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 LED flashing beacon light is ideal for flammable vapors, dusts or even Class III flyings."

Larson Electronics offers a wide variety of explosion-proof LED lights, including LED flashlights, LED surface mount lights, LED beacons and portable LED paint spray booth lights.
