Man Who Evaded Arrest in FL Swamp, Fails to Escape on Lawnmower
A Florida man who jumped into a swamp to avoid Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office deputies trying to serve him warrants last January was not as successful Saturday when he put a John Deere riding lawnmower into high gear and tried to outrun pursuing deputies. Deputies tased the 40-year-old man when he tried the lawnmower getaway.

TX Deputy Shot Serving Warrant
The deputy, who has been with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for about a decade, was taken by air to an Austin hospital for treatment and surgery, Sheriff Casey Goetz says. The deputy was in surgery for nearly four hours and the sheriff said he sustained more damage from the gunshot than first thought.

Houston Officer Shot and Killed Serving Narcotics Warrant
