The feature integrates bright LED lighting into the vehicle’s rear spoiler, providing law enforcement with a highly effective tool to alert drivers of emergency roadside situations while affording officers full visibility out the rear window.

Ford Offers Police Vehicle Driving Event in Texas
Ford has announced it will host an exclusive Police Interceptor drive on Sept. 29 in Fort Worth, Texas. Government fleet managers and purchasers are invited to attend the event and will have the opportunity to drive the Police Interceptor Sedan, Police Interceptor Utility, and both the F-150 Special Service Vehicle (SSV) and Expedition SSV. The Transit Prisoner Transport Vehicle (PTV) will also be on display.

The visor light features bright-white “take down” and “scene” capabilities for excellent forward visibility, and can be set up to meet California Title 13 regulations. It can be programmed from full intensity down to 20 percent, and provide auto-dimming capability as well.
