A 9-year-old boy from northern Ohio has raised nearly $80,000 via a GoFundMe page he began about two years ago. All of the funds are to be used for the purchase of ballistic vests for K-9s at area police agencies.

Airline Honors Fallen Colorado Officer on Flight to Police Week
In honor of Deputy Sheriff Heath McDonald Gumm of the Adams County Sheriff's Office—who was shot and killed during a foot pursuit in January 2018—the cabin crew placed Thin Blue Line flags on every passenger seat and re-designated the flight number to Gumm's call sign.

Florida Boy Running 1 Mile for Each Fallen Officer from 2018 and 2019
In January, Cartledge vowed to run 148 miles to pay tribute to the 148 police officers who died last year in the line of duty. In addition, the 10-year-old said he will run an additional mile for every officer and other first responders killed this year.
