A 9-year-old boy from northern Ohio has raised nearly $80,000 via a GoFundMe page he began about two years ago. All of the funds are to be used for the purchase of ballistic vests for K-9s at area police agencies.
According to NBC News, little Brady Snakovsky got the idea to begin raising money for ballistic protection for K-9s while watching an episode of Live PD when he noticed a K-9 not wearing a vest.
"I want them to stay safe from bad people," Snakovsky said in 2018.
In the intervening years, Brady's K9 Fund has become an official non-profit business.
Brady has donated more than 50 vests in numerous states.
