Raleigh Tense After Fatal Police Shooting
Shortly after noon police were trying to arrest a black man on a felony drug charge when an officer shot him, said Raleigh Police Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown. Speaking at an afternoon press conference, Deck-Brown did not provide many details, saying only that the officer was chasing the man on foot when the man “was shot and killed by the officer.”

Officer John Adsit was dragged more than a dozen yards under Booker's Mercedes and underwent multiple surgeries to repair crushed ribs, a punctured lung, a severed artery in his leg, a broken femur and a cracked pelvis. He was in critical care for a month.

Following the notification, the Minneapolis Fire Department began extinguishing the protestors’ campfires with buckets of water as police and city crews hauled away items on the street. More Here.
