DOJ Lawyers Sent to Minneapolis to Investigate Police Shooting That Sparked Protests
Federal and state authorities have thus far resisted releasing the footage. Cameras from an ambulance, mobile police camera, public housing cameras and cell phone footage caught the shooting. However, police say none of the videos show the full incident and that releasing them could compromise the investigation.

Officers Named in Minneapolis OIS, Union Says Shooting was Result of Gun Grab
Lt. Bob Kroll, president of the police union, said the shooting happened after Clark allegedly tried to grab one of the officer’s guns when they responded to a paramedic’s 911 call for help early Sunday morning and scuffled with Clark. An autopsy said Clark died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Police Shooting of Assault Suspect Sparks Protests in Minneapolis
Police Chief Janeé Harteau has said her department’s “preliminary” finding is that Clark was not cuffed by officers who were responding to a report that Clark was assaulting his girlfriend. The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is leading the shooting investigation.

Video: Baltimore PD Breaks Up Sit-In Protest at City Hall Over Police Commissioner Selection
Baltimore police disbanded an overnight occupation of City Hall by activists who say they want a voice in the process of selecting a permanent police commissioner, and at least 16 people could be seen being led away to police vehicles early Thursday.
