H&H Associates’ new TOURNI-KWIK-3 (TK-3) is an emergency combat tourniquet. Recently tested by the U.S. Navy’s test lab in Panama City, Fla., and given high marks, the TK-3 is a full latex tourniquet designed to stop arterial bleeding and amputations using just one-hand. The TK-3, a 3-inch by 40-inch tourniquet, is more lightweight and less expensive than those currently being used by the armed forces. The TK-3 is being included in the U.S. Marine Corps Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), which is designed for those who are injured in combat.
