The World SWAT Challenge is a competition of the most elite SWAT Teams in the world. The West Hartford team ended up selecting the Stag Arms Government series of rifles in left-handed configuration. Stag Arms is known worldwide for inventing the left-handed M-16.
“Having four members of their team that are left-handed, this is only a natural fit,” says Mark Malkowksi, president of Stag Arms and inventor of the left-handed M-16. “The benefits of left-handed shooters are finally being realized. There are more tactical scenarios to choose from and the user can use his or her dominant eye.” Stag Arms rifles have been used by Special Forces and SWAT Teams throughout the world. “I am only happy that our products can be used to keep Connecticut safe,” says Malkowski.
The World SWAT Challenge is staged annually in Little Rock, Ark. “I am proud to be a sponsor of this event” said Mark Malkowski. “It really gives these guys a chance to sharpen their skills and share tactics and tips with other guys in the field.”
Next year’s World SWAT Challenge will take place in Little Rock, Ark., in May 2007 and will be broadcast on the Outdoor Life Network.
