Police in Vallejo, Calif., arrested one man after a nearly four-hour standoff Wednesday in which two reported hostages escaped harm.
The suspect, who has yet to be named, reportedly fired multiple rounds from a handgun around 3 p.m. before barricading himself and two women inside a house in the 500 block of Monterey Street, police Lt. Jim O'Connell said. One woman escaped on her own.
